As promised, there are going to be some end-of-the-year awards for From New York to San Francisco to celebrate 2011. You are all well aware that I was planning an “Idiot of the Year” award, but we are going to have a few more than just that! Also, rather than just picking them myself, I am going to leave the selection up to my readers, as you will have a chance to vote for the nominees when they are posted.
There will be two separate idiot awards, one for “National Level Idiot” and the other for “Local Level Idiot”, depending on whether the nominee is someone famous or if it is someone that I actually encountered myself, and had the pleasure of writing about at some point in time on this blog. The two other awards will be “Picture of the Year”, which you will vote on the funniest picture I have personally taken and posted here this year, and lastly, on a lighter and more scholarly note, the “Interview of the Year”, where I will nominate ten interviewees out of the massive cast of characters I have spoken to in the last twelve months (that’s going to be a tough one!). Below is the schedule, and it is sure to be a fun few weeks of voting. Results will be posted on December 31. Don’t miss out!
Awards Voting Schedule
“Interview of the Year”
“Picture of the Year”
“Idiots of the Year”
- Voting opens December 8th
Hope to see you at the polls!
